This year we held the General Assembly in Jūrmala, Latvia, from April 23 to 25, welcoming nearly 100 participants from partner organizations across Europe, including EUFRAS.

During the event, we reviewed last year's accomplishments and visited three farms showcasing groundbreaking practices:

  • Biological dairy farm "Rozbeķi": Led by new owner Edgars Lankovskis, who exemplifies a deep respect for nature and a focus on the long-term impact of farming. This farm is also part of the Climate Farm Demo project.

  • Farm "Angi": Owned by Aivars Cimmermanis, who began utilizing direct sowing in 2018.

  • Conventional dairy farm SIA "Lestene": Led by Egils Senkāns, who emphasizes data analysis to continually improve farm efficiency.

Participants also discussed potential improvements and laid plans for next year's goals, ensuring each partner organization understands its role in the ClimateSmartAdvisors Horizon 2020 project.

Together, we are advancing towards a more sustainable agricultural future!
