EUFRAS Contributes to OECD Farm-Level Analysis Network Meeting in Paris!

On 12–13 June 2025, the OECD Farm-Level Analysis Network brought together researchers, policymakers, and stakeholders in Paris, France, to exchange insights on farm-level data, performance, and sustainability.

EUFRAS was represented by Vice-Chairman Anita Dzelme, who contributed to the discussions with a presentation on “Addressing Key Knowledge Challenges in European Agricultural Advisory Services”.
Her talk highlighted practical approaches to meeting emerging knowledge needs within advisory services and the importance of moving towards more evidence-based advice for farmers across Europe, emphasizing the need of the knowledge repositories, such as EU-FarmBook, and the benefits of advisors networking across Europe in thematic networks, such as STRATUS and ClimateSmartAdvisors.

The event provided valuable opportunities to strengthen collaboration, share practical experiences, and learn from international best practices that support resilient and sustainable farm management.

I’m pleased that OECD researchers have recognized the vital role of advisory services in the agricultural sector. We are an essential part of the industry, helping farmers make informed decisions. I hope that OECD’s findings will contribute to building strong support for agricultural and rural advisors, further reinforcing the importance of our work in supporting farmers”.
