June ended with the annual 64th IALB / 14th EUFRAS / 11th SEASN conference, held from June 25 to 26 this year in Brussels, Belgium.
Discussions and exchanges of ideas focused on how advisory systems, education, innovation, and strategies can strengthen the role of advisory services in the future of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and promote its sustainability. As usual, the event included workshops and interactive sessions where participants shared best practices and actual projects. These activities laid the groundwork for lively discussions and fostered valuable networking opportunities.
It is important to note that during the conference, a joint position paper from the IALB/EUFRAS/SEASN networks was presented. Concurrently, a poster session took place, allowing participants to share information about their projects and useful outcome and learn about others initiatives as well. Additionally, interactive workshops and a parliamentary evening addressing current agricultural policy issues were organized.
The second day was dedicated to exploratory visits to European Union institutions, providing attendees with an opportunity to gain insight into the daily work of policymaking and better understand ongoing processes.
Many thanks to the organizers, speakers, and all participants for making this conference successful, insightful, and engaging.
As always, attendees gained inspiring experiences that will support their future work in supporting farmers and developing rural communities. The insights gained will also be important for shaping the future of Europe’s agricultural advisory and education systems.

The conference documentation already is available at the IALB-Website!
See you again in 2026!
