Will Quantum Computing change Agrifood Systems?

Why should you care? Quantum Computing is the latest item on the list of emerging technologies that are put forward by OIN and that promises to exponentially increase the speed of future mobile phones, computers, data transmissions, and cloud infrastructure. While QC is not yet mainstream, experts predict it will become more practical from five years onwards. We invite you to spend just one hour with us to explore how QC will impact agrifood systems. Your feedback after the session will help us shape the future!

Will Quantum Computing change Agrifood Systems?

Quantum Computing (QC) is the latest emerging technology identified by OIN, promising to exponentially boost the speed of future mobile phones, computers, data transmissions, and cloud infrastructure. While QC isn't mainstream yet, experts predict its practicality within five years.

Hosted by the FAO Office of Innovation, these recurring talks ignite agrifood systems (AFS) stakeholders with cutting-edge innovations. While some sessions are exclusive to FAO staff, most are open to the public.

Quantum Computing (QC) is the latest emerging technology highlighted by OIN. Although QC needs time to mature, OIN is launching an event to educate AFS stakeholders about this future gamechanger. QC will stay on OIN's list until it becomes mainstream.

Join us for a one-hour session to explore how QC will revolutionize agrifood systems.
